Comment by Kimberly Callahan on October 31, 2012 at 10:00am I'm very interested in learning how to eat the appropriate foods that is still tasty and convenient. I am looking forward to learning a lot from the other members here. Thanks.
I must say I've enjoyed the wrong foods all of my life. I know better, though. I also know what to create in the kitchen for optimal health. Raising my children as vegans instilled in them the importance of eating healthy as well as knowing how to prepare healthy dishes & snacks. I recently started my garden and it's flourishing. I've always had a green thumb, so I buckled down to start it and now I love nurturing my new babies (vegetables). It's a gradual movement but I will be off the 'wrong foods", soon enough. It's just not working for me, anymore. Stopped the fast food years ago but I knew when my body needed meat, poultry or fish. It's that subliminal assimilation. I had to re-teach/re-train myself from these bad habits. I just feel great with a lot of vegetables, fruits, water, nuts, seeds, spices & herbs. My vegetable soup makes me feel so good, grounded, nourished and full. Check my culinary artistry at: http://www.mamawizecooken.tumblr.com. Peace!
