Come September 21, 2012, it will have been one year since Georgia's Pardons and Parole Board authorized the murder of TROY DAVIS. The momentum generated around his case in the final weeks of his physical life was awesome indeed. Because it's obvious people care about this case, I encourage everyone to organize an event or activity(s) in his or her respective community to honor this brotha's martyrdom during that week. Let's coordinate our efforts and make the public relations campaign unified as well.

National Boycott and General Strike

JOIN THE GENERAL STRIKE on Oct. 11^th: NO Work, NO School, NO Play!

Do not send your children to school, take off work/school and encourage others to do the same on Tuesday October 11, 2011 in honor of TROY DAVIS.

2. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS DATE (October 11, 2011)

Get enough food to last for a week or more, shop at your local food suppliers, fill up your gas tank days ahead of time, and do NOT spend money on anything that requires paying local, state, or federal taxes.

Support or organize teach-ins, rallies, and town hall meetings in your area to discuss the case and how to continue the legacy of TROY DAVIS.

Flood local radio stations & newspapers with calls urging them to discuss the case of TROY ANTHONY DAVIS. Let them know that by refusing to do so, a boycott of their station will go into effect immediately.

It permits an inmate only one year from conviction to have new evidence heard. The act was enacted in 1996 and retroactively applies to cases back to 1986, yet Troy was convicted in 1991. YOU DO THE MATH.
